Shihan Philip Burgess, 9th Dan, Chief Instructor of Coventry Ki Society, will be our guest for the third time, March 24-26, 2023.
Philip Burgess has been practicing aikido since 1967. Receiving his Black Belt 1st Dan in 1970, Sensei Burgess has been fortunate and privileged to have been graded by Maruyama Sensei for his Okuden grade and Tohei Sensei for his 5th Dan Aikido.
In 1986 and 1992, Sensei visited and trained in Japan with Tohei Sensei.
In 2021 he was promoted to Kudan (9th Dan by Doshu Yoshigasaki).

Since it is the 10th birthday of our dojo, one round of beer is on us and there will be cake also 🙂
Snacks on Sunday are included in the seminar fee.
It is possible to sleep in the dojo.
