We are happy to announce a seminar with sensei Davide Rizzi (7th Dan, Centro Ki-Aikido Bologna, Italy), November 11 & 12, 2022, in our House of Aikido.

Davide-Rizzi

Davide Rizzi began practicing Ki-Aikido in Bologna in the early 1980s, after several sports and Shotokan Karate experiences. His first teacher was a young teacher, then 2nd Dan, Giuseppe Ruglioni. It is through this teacher that Davide met Master Yoshigasaki and the other masters of Ki No Kenkyukai and became passionate about Ki-Aikido.

Maestro Ruglioni came from Florence and for about 10 years he continued to hold a course regularly in Bologna. He then left the dojo to Davide, who over the years had become the second instructor. The dojo, registered at Ki No Kenkyukai Japan as the Ki-Aikido Bologna Center, has been an active dojo ever since, with regular courses and seminars, and with students up to 5th Dan. It is better known as Tana Delle Tigri (a name chosen by the students themselves!).

While attending many teachers and Doshu Yoshigasaki himself, the relationship with Maestro Ruglioni has always had an exclusive character, it never stopped and continued until his death a few years ago.

In his own words: “Yoshigasaki is the Doshu but Beppe is my Master!”

Davide is currently 7th Dan and continues to teach in the dojo and hold seminars.

The seminar will take place Friday evening and Saturday.

Information on schedule and price coming soon.

It is possible to sleep in the dojo.
